DEFIBRILLATOR PERFORMANCE ART GALLERY is proud to present the first annual RAPID PULSE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART FESTIVAL. opening 01 JUNE and closing 10 JUNE 2012, RAPID PULSE aims to represent a vast range of styles and forms in order to provoke thought and stimulate discourse surrounding performance art.
RAPID PULSE will present 29 international, national, and local artists who were invited or selected from an international call for proposals. the curatorial committee consists of JULIE LAFFIN, STEVEN BRIDGES, GIANA GAMBINO, and JOSEPH RAVENS. in addition to live gallery performances, RAPID PULSE will include random public performances, a video series, social events, artist talks and panel discussions.
