“Art in the Time of Plagiarism is back! For our 9th Annual Event, The Plagiarists invite you to revel in a Carnival-themed cavalcade of merriment!
You’ll sip wine and beer and enjoy delicious snacks while you browse traditional paintings, handmade jewelry, pop-culture-inspired prints, figurines, and other creations from artists and artisans throughout the Midwest, all offered at varying levels of affordability. You’ll groove to some of our DJ’s smooth yet festive tunes and test your luck at our array of carnival games.
Art In The Time of Plagiarism is a celebration of art and inspiration, a party, an art show, and fundraiser for a company whose mission is to create vital new works of theatre by rejoicing in the works of others, stealing from literature, visual art, history, and the culture at large and finding the familiar in the strange, the unique in the commonplace to ultimately enlarge the world.
This is a FREE event! Refreshments will be offered on a donation basis, and you’ll have the chance to purchase a myriad of art.”
