BRUNO ISAKOVIĆ was born in ZAGREB, and graduated in contemporary dance in AMSTERDAM. in ZAGREB he is a member of the STUDIO for CONTEMPORARY DANCE, where he is a regular freelance choreographer, conducting workshops and collaborating with other choreographers. his work, DENUDED, re-questions the relationship with the audience through a feedback loop that causes a significant transformation of the artist’s body, bypassing classical staging, his body is in the middle of the space, enhancing the sculptural aspects of his performance.
DENUDED was created during BRUNO ISAKOVIĆ and PAVLE HEIDLER’S artistic residency in ART WORKSHOP LAZARETI in DUBROVNIK, through the PERFORATIONS program and the PERFORMING ARTS NETWORK. the idea of DENUDED is born from the framework of a previous work INVOCATION. reminiscent of the relationship between the secular and the spiritual, DENUDED continues research into physical transformation – what, at a given moment, we are able to see, recognize, and experience.
following performances in KOREA, JAPAN, and GREECE, DENUDED continues its international tour in the UNITED STATES, visiting NEW YORK, CHICAGO, WASHINGTON, LOS ANGELES and SAN FRANCISCO. the rest of the tour includes BRAZIL and AUSTRALIA in 2015.

TAVIA DAVID is an artist born in CHICAGO ILLINOIS. TAVIA is a recipient of the MERIT SCHOLARSHIP award from THE SCHOOL of the ART INSTITUTE of CHICAGO, which she still attends working primarily with film and performance. the politics of the body and the way in which it governs itself within a singular and social context is a key driving force in TAVIA DAVID’S work. she investigates structures and systems of language surrounding the body, often in an effort to construct, reconstruct and deconstruct the politics of movement and commonly accepted behavioral patterns. TAVIA’S investigations mirror her concerns surrounding issues of race, gender, and class within a popular culture context.
