following two wildly successful PERSONAL PROJECTS exhibitions in 2011 and 2012, more than a dozen photographers and painters will be giving yet another peak at their souls by exposing works never seen by the public at
PERSONAL PROJECTS—an art exhibition curated by CHICAGO-based photographer SCOTT THOMPSON
dozens of photos taken in black and white and color will be displayed, along with paintings in various mediums.
we named the show PERSONAL PROJECTS because, basically it comprises the projects that artists create for inspiration, but not commercial release, THOMPSON explains, they typically never see the light of day. most the time, these projects are undertaken to work on a new technique or work through a creative idea, or even as a form of therapy. whatever the reason, they were never meant to be shared with an audience. but we are open to connecting on a deeper level by bearing our souls.
