sparked by a video abstract that ALASTAIR MACLENNAN (UK/IRELAND) presented during his artist talk at THE 2014 RAPID PULSE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART FESTIVAL, this evening of video projections presents the work of artists, who usually perform in the body, but who have decided, in these instances, to perform for the camera. all of these videos investigate our conception of nature through the senses and subtly echo one another. we will begin the evening with ALASTAIR MACLENNAN’S piece taking place in the forest on the SCOTTISH-ENGLISH border, and then we will go to other forests in NORWAY and OHIO, passing through midwestern barns, and ending in the desert.
